How to Apply
Good Neighbor Grants
OceanFirst Foundation has a strong commitment to helping our neighbors build their self-sufficiency and we know that sometimes needs can be met with just a little bit of help from community partners. The Good Neighbor Grant Program provides grants of up to $5,000 for community and volunteer driven projects with a broad benefit and up to $3,500 for special event sponsorship. Good Neighbor Grants are open to nonprofits, service organizations, and education foundations with tax-exempt status. Requests are considered on a rolling basis and a two month lead time is strongly recommended.
If your organization is interested in applying for a Good Neighbor Grant there are three simple steps to follow:
| 1. | Call the Foundation office at (732) 341-4676 to discuss your special event, program or project. We’ll advise you on whether your request fits within our guidelines. If the Foundation is interested in considering your organization’s request, you will be provided with an online application. |
| 2. | Mail a copy of the program information or event brochure/sponsorship information to the Foundation office. Be sure that it includes all pertinent information including the purpose of the event, the date and location, and a point of contact with a daytime phone number and email address. |
| 3. | Complete and submit the online grant application. |
