How to Apply
Major Grants
Requests for Major Grants - those more than $5,000 for program or project support - must address one of the Foundation’s priorities and applicants must be able to demonstrate a significant impact within the OceanFirst market area. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to review the application and requirement checklist prior to completing a request to ensure that all qualifications can be met. Organizations may request one major grant per year and if the request is declined, the organization must wait one year before reapplying to the Foundation.
If your nonprofit organization is interested in applying for a Major Grant from OceanFirst Foundation, there are three simple steps to follow:
| 1. | Call the Foundation office at (732) 341-4676 to discuss your program or project. We’ll advise you on whether your request fits within our guidelines. If the Foundation is interested in considering a full proposal, you will be provided with a password to access an online application. |
| 2. | Complete and submit the online application. |
| 3. | Mail the required supporting documents to the Foundation office. You will be contacted by a Foundation representative if additional information is required. |
