Home Runs for Heroes Swings Back into Action for the 17th Season!

We’ve teamed up with the Jersey Shore BlueClaws and 92.7 WOBM – Ocean County’s Best Variety to honor and provide support to the brave men and women who serve and protect our nation. In the sixteen years of the program, $696,000 has been awarded to help our heroes. A big WIN!

Here’s how it works. Each charity partner is assigned an inning and every home run hit by the Jersey Shore BlueClaws in the charity’s assigned inning – at home games – scores a $1,000 donation from OceanFirst Foundation.

This year’s charity team includes – Always Supporting Our Military; American National Red Cross; Army Emergency Relief; Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation; Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton – Ocean Community; Chariot Riders Inc; Deborah Hospital Foundation – HERO Care Connect; GI Go Fund; Homes for All; Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey;  Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund; Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation; Military Support Alliance; National Guard State Family Readiness Council; Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society; Operation Homefront; Vetwork; and Volunteers of America.
