What a delightful morning it was at the Toms River headquarters for All Fur One Adoption Day! OceanFirst Foundation had the pleasure of introducing WaveMakers to the most adorable kittens and puppies, eagerly awaiting their forever homes. The event was filled with snuggles, belly rubs, and kisses galore!
The Arc of Ocean County also made magic happen, whipping up homemade dog treats to sell to our animal loving employees.
WaveMakers happily took time to play with the pets and learn more about the amazing work All Fur One and The Arc of Ocean County are doing within the community. The adorable kittens and playful puppies were all anyone could talk about! Volunteers from All Fur One brought animals that were eligible for adoption and as hoped a match was made!
Adoption Day Success story:
“The day of the adoption event, I was adamant about not going to see any of the animals since I already have 2 senior cats at home. But, something kept pulling me upstairs. I felt like I couldn’t stop myself, and I gave up trying to fight it. When I saw Willow, I felt drawn to her instantly. And then to top it all off, she plopped her entire body into my hands while I was petting her, and I knew it was over for me. She was mine. While I had no intentions of adopting a third cat that day, I didn’t really have a choice. I mean, they do choose you after all, right?” – Jennifer Harmon, Human Resources, OceanFirst Bank.
